Not all Homecomings are created equal. BLK went ahead and ranked the hottest HBCU Homecomings based on vibe, energy, and of course, who’s looking the best! So, where should you plan to be this season if you’re looking for a good time and maybe a little something more?

Best Overall Homecoming

North Carolina A&T. If you’re looking for the Homecoming experience that’s got it all like parties, culture, and unmatched school pride then NC A&T is where you need to be.

Howard University’s ladies have claimed the crown for beauty. Don’t be surprised if your jaw hits the floor more than once while strolling through the Yard.

According to BLK’s Homecoming Hookup Report, 41 percent of attendees admitted to having a Homecoming hookup at some point in the past. If you’ve ever wondered whether those sparks you felt weren’t just in your head, you’re not alone!

However, homecoming is about more than just late-night rendezvous. It’s a time to celebrate culture, reconnect with your people, and enjoy the vibes that only an HBCU campus can offer.

Still, for those who do find themselves in a hookup situation, BLK’s data shows that most prefer to keep it low-key. Sixty-three percent of respondents said they’d rather link up in private than in the middle of the party scene. So, if you’ve got your eyes on someone, maybe plan for a more intimate setting after the DJ shuts things down, like at a hotel room or afterparty.

Exes at Homecoming? Keep It Cool

One of the best parts about homecoming is reuniting with familiar faces. What happens, however, when that familiar face is your ex?

According to BLK’s findings, there’s no need to worry about any drama. Seventy-seven percent of people surveyed said they’d rather keep things chill if they bump into an old flame. They prefer to focus on enjoying the night instead of rehashing old issues. After all, homecoming is a time to have fun, not stir up old tea!
