To determine the luxury towns where you can still afford a home, 24/7 Tempo reviewed five-year data on median household value and median household income from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2022 American Community Survey . Cities, towns, and Census-designated places where the median home value is $1,000,000 or greater were ranked based on the percentage of owner-occupied housing units valued at less than $250,000. Only cities with at least 1,000 residents were considered.
