Laura’s House Resale Store — 2 locations

Laura’s House Resale Store offers clothing for the whole family, shoes, accessories, books, antiques, collectibles, furniture, and more. They currently have two locations: 23635 El Toro Road, Suite F, in Lake Forest (pictured), and 31878 Del Obispo Street, Suite 104, in San Juan Capistrano. A third location is planned. Yelpers really appreciate the volunteer staff at these stores as well as the order and cleanliness.

Proceeds from the sale of donated items benefit Laura’s House, which was established in 1995 to support victims of domestic violence. They provide shelter, counseling, and legal services, as well as help victims begin new lives.

Sheepfold Thrift Store — 810 N. Tustin St., Orange

The Sheepfold Thrift store in Orange sells an array of women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, home décor, furniture, and electronics, and is one of the stores on this list that gives back to the community.

The Sheepfold was founded by Fran Lundquist in 1979 to establish a safe place for mothers with children to come when they were in abusive situations or homeless. The families in the program can shop at the store without charge for what they need, and proceeds from what you buy go directly back into supporting them.

Sav Mor Thrift Store — 2025 W. 1st St., Santa Ana

Orange Lutheran Thrift Shop — 676 N. Tustin St., Orange

The Orange Lutheran Thrift Shop is another store that gives back, this time providing financial assistance for Orange Luther High School students in need.

You’ll find clothing, household items and kitchenware, electronics, jewelry, accessories, and furniture items. They offer a few discounts and specials, so be sure to ask when you walk in. One Yelper called it a “total gem.”

So-Lo Boutique Consignment — 112 E, 18th St., Costa Mesa

So-Lo Boutique Consignment is a boutique thrift store with affordable vintage and consignment options. You’ll find gently used women’s clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry, and more.

Full Circle Marketplace — 140 S. Glassell St., Orange

Full Circle is a cute and chic boutique marketplace that sells upcycled clothes, gifts, and local artisan creations. It also gives back, with all proceeds going to the Youth Centers of Orange, which provides after-school care and tutoring to children in need.

Inside its vibrant walls are clothing, gifts, jewelry, and more. This has to be one of the best thrift stores in Orange County, as evidenced by the reviews on Google and Yelp.

McFly’s Thrift Store — 133 N. Main St., Lake Elsinore

McFly’s Thrift Store is certainly one of a kind. Stepping into this gem of a store is like stepping into a museum devoted to the 1980s and ’90s.

While the store sells vintage clothing, you’ll probably spend more time checking out all the vintage wares and posters scattered all over the store. We recommend you go in person but if you can’t, check out their online thrifts .

Second Impressions — 24412 Muirlands, Suite I, Lake Forest

Second Impressions is a charming boutique resale store. They sell donated clothing, both used and new, as well as accessories, kitchenware, art, home décor, furniture, and jewelry.

Proceeds help sustain bread ovens in Haiti to feed the hungry. The boutique also helps the homeless with free clothing, warm meals, toiletries, and other necessities.

Upscale Resale Thrift Store — 23461 Ridge Route Dr., Suite D, Laguna Hills

Upscale Resale Thrift Store benefits those facing food insecurity and homelessness, so here’s another option to help give back to the community. Proceeds benefit South County Outreach’s food pantry.

We’d be remiss to not include OC Goodwill Boutiques on this list since there are so many of them around.
