College football's preseason AP Top 25 rankings are out ahead of the 2024 season and they're dripping with grand expectations for programs perceived to be expanded College Football Playoff contenders. Many of the included teams in this month's poll are also featured in a "25 greatest programs of all-time" ranking, which is based on a formula developed by College Football News using every final AP Top 25 Poll since 1936.
