Arkansas put up 687 total yards of offense, which is third-best in program history, and scored a touchdown on its first 10 possessions, a feat that hadn't been done by any college football team in the past 20 years.Green appeared tailor-made to run Petrino's offense and vice versa. He finished the day 16 of 23 passing (70% completion percentage) for 229 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, six carries for 88 rushing yards (14.7 yards per carry average) and two rushing touchdowns. Also, that was all in the first half as Green didn't play a single down in the second half."I mean, we've seen him at practice," Pittman said after the game. "Probably the thing we didn't know was how well he would run. We knew he was fast but we just hadn't seen it. The broken play coming down the UAPB sideline there going north, that was a hard run. That was a hard play because he had to come all the way across and he had the speed."The play Pittman referred to was one of the highlights of the night, as Green scrambled for a 36-yard touchdown late in the first half. Green avoided one two tacklers in the backfield before taking off down the UAPB sidelines, eventually splitting two more Golden Lion defenders around the 25-yard line. Of course the clock keeps rolling if I get tackled, so I was like, 'I better score'. I crossed the field and saw the green grass and let my speed do the rest."Through the air, it took Green a few drives for his pre-game nerves to calm as he had a couple of bad misses to <a href="https://247sports.com/Player/tyrone-broden-46055265/">Tyrone Broden</a> and one to <a href="https://247sports.com/Player/CJ-Brown-46137403">CJ Brown</a> on a would-be touchdown. Eventually, Green settled in and through the ball exceptionally well."I thought he threw the ball well," Pittman said. "We took care of the ball and didn't have any turnovers. But more importantly he ran the offense. And I'll tell you, we had some fantastic catches tonight too. I know <a href="https://247sports.com/Player/Tyrus-Washington-46103671">Tyrus Washington</a> had one, I know [<a href="https://247sports.com/Player/isaac-teslaa-46083940/">Isaac TeSlaa</a>] had one. I mean just some fantastic grabs out there. Credit to [<a href="https://247sports.com/Player/ronnie-fouch-53318/">Ronnie Fouch</a>] and what he's teaching those guys and to the kids. I thought Taylen played about like what we thought he would. We think pretty highly of him."The return of Petrino as Arkansas offensive coordinator was obvious from a play-calling standpoint. Despite Green having some pre-game jitters, Petrino opted to take a deep shot on the first play of the game. Green's ball was underthrown, thanks to some strong southwardly winds, and nearly picked off. After the game, Green lauded the play call. "I loved it," Green said. "The aggressive nature in Coach Petrino. Me and [Broden], and [Isaiah Sategna], were talking about the play leading up to it. Of course, I underthrew it and he was open. That's something I've got to get better at. I don't care who you play. So, I'm really happy for him and told the team, I think it's the first time in history that that's happened, and it happened when Bobby came back.
