Day three brings <a href="https://247sports.com/college/louisville/">Louisville</a> men's basketball into the spotlight where UofL head coach <a href="https://247sports.com/Coach/pat-kelsey-3916/">Pat Kelsey</a> and players <a href="https://247sports.com/Player/chucky-hepburn-46056383/">Chucky Hepburn</a> and <a href="https://247sports.com/Player/jvonne-hadley-46080432/">J'Vonne Hadley</a> will represent the program.The Cardinals will arrive for their run through the media blitz during the afternoon. Louisville will be on the Main Stage from 2:45-3:00pm, which can be <a href="https://www.espn.com/watch/player?id=a93c1dea-4578-4955-9571-4de0c2a4d6ea">viewed live on the ACC Network</a>. Kelsey, Hepburn and Hadley will then spend 30 minutes in the breakout room for a more informal visit with media members.Cardinal Authority is on location and will have continuing coverage from the afternoon's events. This report will be updated throughout the day.In addition to the press conference airing on the ACC Network, fans will also be able to catch the Cardinals two more times. He's good."NC State Kevin Keatts believes a strong Louisville is good for the ACCLast season was one to remember for NC State. Wolfpack head coach Kevin Keatts guided his program through a miraculous run that began on the edge of being left out of the NCAA postseason to reaching the Final Four.Keatts has enjoyed similar success before, including during three years as an assistant coach for Rick Pitino at Louisville. Keatts knows first hand the passion behind the Louisville program and what its traditional success means to the city and the conference."I was there for three years and in my three years as an assistant coach, we went to the Final Four, went back and won the national championship and went to the Sweet 16," Keatts said. "It's a special place and if he can turn it around, it's a special place for Louisville but it also helps our conference. I hope all of our teams are really good because we just want to uplift the conference."ACC UNDERVALUED?Speaking of the successes of the ACC in men's basketball to the media on Wednesday afternoon, ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips made mention that he believes the league has been undervalued in recent years. He reminded that "six different ACC programs, the most of any league, have reached the Final Four since 2015, and the ACC has won three NCAA titles from three different teams."After the reminder, Phillips began to stress the importance of making certain the ACC remains the "premier conference" in basketball."Internally we've been working with multiple consultants as well as bolstering our external efforts to make certain our coverage is appropriately reflecting the talent and the teams we have in this outstanding league. We've connected with current and former members of the NCAA committee and NCAA staff to best ensure the conference and our membership understands the metrics and system by which programs will be evaluated. As a former member of both the men's and women's NCAA basketball committee, I understand this is extremely important."Consistent with previous years and as part of the NCAA basketball committee's process, throughout the year we will have regular communication and connection with NCAA committee members.
