He is a three-star quarterback at LaSalle College (Warrington, Pennsylvania).He committed to Rutgers in July from an offer list that included <a href="https://247sports.com/college/duke/">Duke</a>, <a href="https://247sports.com/college/indiana/">Indiana</a>, <a href="https://247sports.com/college/maryland/">Maryland</a> and <a href="https://247sports.com/college/pittsburgh/">Pittsburgh</a> among others."It was a difficult decision based on evaluating things and having conversations with my high school coaches and family," Sidwar told Scarlet Nation. "I felt it was best for me to take more visits to make sure I was finding the offense that is best for my skill set. I didn't want to take visits behind Rutgers' back."This season, Sidwar showcased some massive potential for LaSalle. Recently in a win over Roman Catholic (Philadelphia), Sidwar threw for 330 yards with two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.Rutgers showed significant progress as an offense last season in the return of offensive coordinator <a href="https://247sports.com/Coach/kirk-ciarrocca-547/">Kirk Ciarrocca</a>. This year, with several injuries to the offense, there have been games where the unit has struggled.The Scarlet Knights are currently No. 12 <a href="https://bigten.org/fb/stats/">in the Big Ten</a> in total offense with 387.9 yards per game. They are No. 11 with an average of 25.8 points per game.As of now, Sidwar will remain focused on his season for a <a href="https://bigten.org/fb/stats/">LaSalle program that is 10-0</a>."I'll be honest, I wasn't talking to schools behind Rutgers back. Schools would reach out but I wasn't too receptive," Sidwar said. "Schools would reach out to coach Gordon (LaSalle head coach Brett Gordon) but he kept them away."So there isn't a school that prompted me to do this. This was more about Rutgers, me, and whether this was still the right fit for my skill set. I'm back to the drawing board. No visits as of now, but that could change."</div></body>
