JAYLEN WELLS' PURSUIT of an NBA Summer League title fell short on Monday with the Memphis Grizzlies losing 120-118 to Miami, but it did not detract from the summer the Washington State sharpshooter put together. In six games on the Las Vegas circuit, Wells averaged 29.2 minutes per game, pouring in 13.2 points per contest, shooting 48.2 percent from the floor and 40 percent from deep. He also chipped in 2.3 rebounds and one assist per game.

With 17 starters returning, the team seems to look very similar to last year.
