Commissioner Phillips faced a rather rough year since we last saw him in Jul 2023 - enduring the filing of lawsuits by Florida State and Clemson and all of the drama that one would expect to follow, considerable changes in the NIL landscape, and settlement of the antitrust lawsuits Phillips' prepared remarks largely reflected the same items one typically hears - number of championships, academic prowess, league performance, etc. But, there were a few things of note within his remarks.
