Recruiting Scoop - York County intel
Rock Hill (S.C.) four-star wide receiver Malik Clark is set to make his announcement on Thursday, and South Carolina is expected to be the choice unless Florida State can pull off a late shocker and grab Clark's commitment. If the Gamecocks do indeed land Clark, he would be an excellent addition to the 2025 class and would join South Pointe's class of 2026 three-star offensive lineman Anthony Baxter, who has already chosen the Gamecocks. Pairing Clark's pledge with Baxter's could also be a springboard for South Carolina when it comes to future York County prospects. Two such 2026 prospects will be in Columbia this weekend for the prospect cookout in Northwestern safety Tamarion Watkins and South Pointe four-star cornerback J'Zavien Currence.
