Boston College 2024 Opponent Previews: Western Kentucky
Out of the heart of ACC play, we move on to Boston College's final out-of-conference opponent in 2024. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers finished 8-5 last year, their third consecutive winning season in a row and fourth in five seasons under head coach Tyson Helton. Helton's background is quite interesting. His father, Kim, was a long-time offensive line coach who spent most of his career in the NFL. Tyson coached under his father at UAB from 2007-2011. After a one-year stint at Cincinnati, he coached at Western Kentucky for the first time under Jeff Brohm from 2014-15. Then, he reunited with his brother Clay at USC, serving as his offensive coordinator for two years. Since taking over at WKU in 2019, Helton's offenses have been consistently explosive, helping the Hilltoppers to consistent success, holding a 40-26 record under his watch.

Four Downs: Steve Sarkisian has to expand the Texas wide receiver rotation and more
I moved to Austin last summer and joined the Horns247 staff and the first storyline that caught my attention was Steve Sarkisian's affinity for tight ends in his offense. I've written at length about how he uses the Texas tight ends and the role they play in his scheme, so there's no need to rehash.
