    Panola Mountain State Park in Stockbridge, located just 15 minutes away from Atlanta, is a recreational haven for visitors. With tree climbing classes, hiking opportunities, bike trails, and more -- this is one state park you don't want to miss.

    This year, Panola Mountain State Park is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Half a century ago, Panola became Georgia’s first Conservation Park -- and they're celebrating with stickers!

    For their 50th, Panola Mountain SP is giving away free 50-year anniversary stickers for participating in guided hikes, while supplies last. A ranger-led guided hike is the only way to access the granite mountain, and it's a great way to learn about its history and the rare plants and animals found here.
