    National Coffee Day is September 29, and Alpharetta has numerous spots to celebrate.

    In the Fall, areas of Alpharetta transform to show off its autumn colors. Enjoy exploring the city by foot along the trails and paths in the destination.

    AlphaLoop: A network of urban, multi-use trails that links four of Alpharetta’s key activity centers – Avalon, Downtown, the North Point Eco District and Northwinds

    Big Creek Greenway:Explore nine miles on Alpharetta’s Big Creek Greenway, a 12-foot wide paved path for biking, walking, rollerblading, inline skating and bird watching.

    Fall Festivals & Events

    • Wire & Wood Alpharetta Songwriters Festival, October 11-12, 2024: Exceptional music and captivating performances are guaranteed, with headliners Sixpence None the Richer on Friday evening and Neal Francis on Saturday evening! This event is free to the public.
    • Alpharetta Restaurant Week, October 20-26, 2024: With over 45 participating restaurants, this is the area’s largest Restaurant Week event featuring local Alpharetta restaurants offering a special dinner menu with multiple courses for $25-$50+ and many also offer similar lunch menus for $20-$35+ (beverage, tax and gratuity not included).

    Ongoing Events This Fall

    • Alpharetta Farmers Market: For over two decades, the vendors of theAlpharetta Farmers Markethave been serving fresh produce and goods in the heart of Downtown Alpharetta. It’s the locals’ go-to for fresh baked goods and snacks, open April 6 through November 23 from 8:30-12:30 a.m.
    • Alpharetta Food Truck Alley: Stroll the streets, eat delicious food, listen to some great music and kick off the weekend a little early at this Alpharetta event, which takes place on the fourth Thursday of each month from April to October 2024 and features up to 10 food trucks.
    • Avalon Nights Live: Unwind after a long week with live music in The Plaza every Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Avalon Nights Live. Grab your friends and family and get ready to dance the night away. Takes place through October 25, 2024.

    Dog Friendly Alpharetta

    With the crisp air, there is never a better time to walk with your pooch.

    • Fetch Park Alpharetta: While visiting, pups can enjoy extensive green space to run and play, cool off in troughs of fresh water in the splash zone, and interact with all types of dog breeds. Human visitors can “Unleash and Unwind” while playing along with their pet, enjoying a coffee or beer from the Bark bar, snapping pics with the fun murals painted throughout the park, or catching their favorite team playing on the big screen.
    • The Big Creek Greenway features 9 miles of dog-approved pathways. With multiple access points throughout the city, it’s super easy to decide what route you’d like to take with your exercise partner! The 12-foot wide paths are great whether you want to walk, run or skate alongside your pooch.
