Horrible idea! Do you want your house on College or 71 Business. There are probably no houses along that 5 lane highway for a reason. There’s a reason it’s been almost only businesses for 50 years. I live two blocks from it and can hear traffic and wrecks. No one wants a house built right on it. People want peaceful areas to live, not people piled on businesses or piled on an acre. Having a little land around your home, single family home that’s in a little neighborhood is a nice part of living in Fayetteville. You can drive to end of street and hit college. No one wants 24 plexes over by Rolling hills before the Urban Development. Think about where do you want to live, what are your favorite places in Fayetteville. I bet it’s not 7 story apartments where houses and trees use to be. Save Fayetteville from smashing as many people as they can into an acre! That’s what the charts show. Vote no!
