(670 The Score) Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has agreed to terms on his rookie contract, ESPN first reported Tuesday afternoon.

The No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, Williams and the Bears reached a deal Tuesday afternoon, shortly after rookies reported for training camp at Halas Hall. The contract is a standard four-year, $39.5-million deal with a fifth-year team option for 2028, with the terms being set through the rookie wage scale.

Williams' contract also includes a $25.5-million signing bonus, NFL Media reported.

Williams was the Bears' last rookie to reach an agreement on his contract. Receiver Rome Odunze, the No. 9 selection, signed his deal Tuesday.

The Bears named Williams their new starting quarterback during rookie minicamp in early May, shortly after he was drafted by Chicago.

The Bears' veterans report for training camp Friday at Halas Hall. The team will conduct its first practice Saturday.
