Man from Florida struck, killed by box truck in Mullica Hill, New Jersey

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed early Monday morning in Mullica Hill, Gloucester County.

It happened on the southbound ramp for Route 55 approaching Route 322 around 12:45 a.m.

Police say a 20-year-old man, driving a box truck, struck the pedestrian, who was walking along the shoulder of the ramp.

The victim has been identified as 67-year-old Joseph Logrande of Tampa, Florida.

There's no word if any charges will be filed.
