A shooting suspect is now in police custody after a wild chase through the streets of Philadelphia .

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday as the suspect, driving in a gray Hyundai, led officers through several neighborhoods.

The suspect could be seen driving down Broad Street through Temple University's campus and making illegal turns into oncoming traffic during his daring escape.

The man then made a run for it but not before officers were able to move in.

Authorities believe two suspects took off in the Hyundai after the shooting.

Police say one suspect bailed out of the vehicle at 4th Street and Allegheny Avenue-the same area where police say they found a gun and at least four shell casings.

The suspect arrested in Kensington has not been identified.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 215-686-TIPS.
