1 dead, another injured following shooting in North Philadelphia
A man has died after being shot in the head in North Philadelphia.Officers found the man shot on the 3500 block of North Warnock Street just after 11 p.m. Saturday.He was rushed to Temple University Hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.Officials say a second victim showed up to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.He is listed in stable condition.No weapon was recovered and no arrest has been made.The Shooting Investigation Group is leading the investigation.
3 men arrested following police pursuit from Northeast Philadelphia to East Falls
Three men are in custody after a police pursuit from Northeast Philadelphia to East Falls ended in a crash along Kelly Drive.Philadelphia Police say officers were trying to break up a car-meet at Frankford and Harbison, and started following a Grey Dodge Charger from the scene.The miles-long pursuit ended when the car crashed into a wall and a tree.The driver jumped into the river, but was pulled out and taken into custody.Another man was arrested trying to run away, and a third was taken from the car.

Authorities in Mercer County are investigating after a man was shot and killed during a carjacking with two children in the backseat.It happened just before 10:30 p.m. Friday in Trenton, New Jersey.Police say they received several calls reporting an overturned vehicle in the area of Garfield and Farragut avenues.At the scene, officers found a white Durango that had been overturned.Investigators also found the victim, Johny Emmanuel Cruz-Rodrigez, inside the Durango.He was reportedly suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officer hospitalized after stolen car crashes into police cruiser in Germantown
A Philadelphia Police officer was hospitalized after their squad car was struck by a stolen vehicle.The officers were responding to a report of men breaking into cars near Morton and Johnston streets in the Germantown section of the city overnight Saturday.The suspects attempted to flee from police in a white SUV, struck the police cruiser and overturned in the process.Several people inside the vehicle got away. One suspect was taken into custody.The officer was taken to the hospital for observation but is expected to be okay.The Crash Investigation Division is investigating.
String of Ring doorbell thefts under investigation in Sharon Hill, Pa.
Sharon Hill police are investigating a string of Ring doorbell camera thefts over the past two weeks.They believe juveniles are committing the crimes that are caught on camera.A neighbor's doorbell video shows three juveniles outside a home on Woodland Avenue last Tuesday evening. US Marshals arrest suspect wanted for shooting at American Legion Post in Ardmore
U.S. Marshals have arrested a man in Lycoming County who was wanted for a shooting outside an American Legion Post in Montgomery County on Memorial Day.Andrew McCutchen, 35, was captured in Williamsport on Tuesday.He is accused of opening fire at the Spencer Reid American Legion Post on Simpson Road in Ardmore.A 26-year-old man was shot inside.Police say the victim was targeted after an earlier disturbance at the Post.McCutchen is charged with attempted murder and other offenses.
