Justin Wages + co-founders David Kinloch and Andre Grundy, a group with Charleston roots, have launched a new sparkling wine brand — Don Luchi Prosecco .

In 2024, the trio traveled to Italy, immersing themselves in the Prosecco-making process and learning how to create a product that will deliver a taste of Italy’s famous specific northeast region to folks right here in the Lowcountry.

    Quick facts

    Values: 100% Glera grapes
Bouquet: Golden apple, peach, rose, wisteria, almond, and toasted bread
Taste: Very dry, savory, and complex
    Zone: Prosecco Superiore DOCG zone

Pro tip: Don Luchi pairs well with soft cheeses and spicy foods — which are flavors that can be found in Lowcountry staples, like shrimp and grits.
