Preserve local history: Bring your memories to Taylors History Harvest

Taylors wants to preserve its local history — and you can help.

Head to Taylors History Harvest at the Greenville Library this Thursday, Aug. 22, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to share your best memories, photos, or other mementos of organizations, businesses, families, or neighborhoods in Taylors.

Physical items will be scanned, and oral history will also be recorded. Registration is required in advance.

Need to be inspired ? Think: Chick Spring Ginger Ale was made in Taylors in the 1920s, and this vintage ginger ale label with the Chick Springs Hotel on it was on some of the bottles from Greenville County.
