The brand-new Prisma Health Center for Health & Life Sciences located on Greenville Technical College’s Barton Campus is now open, just in time for the fall semester.

The project team includes award-winning architecture firm McMillan Pazdan Smith , JMZ Architects, and Harper General Contractors.

At 137,000 sqft, this building is the largest on any of the college’s eight campuses and special education centers.

    Impacting students + the community

About 90% of Greenville Technical College students will take general education courses in the facility. It will also be a key resource for the 500-600 health science grads that the college sends into the local workforce each year. Think: Medical assistants, radiologic and MRI technologists, and more.

    What’s inside

The unique three-story building puts learning on display with science labs, an Anatomage lab with virtual dissection tables, and more. It also houses medical imaging, ultrasound and radiological technology suites, a mammography X-ray lab, study cubicles, and conversation rooms.
