    Indiana Humanities launches inaugural Midwest literary festival

    Indiana Humanities announced it’s launching an inaugural Midwest literary festival titled “Proof: A Midwest Lit Fest” that will give you

    proof that Indiana is a great place to be a writer, reader, and lover of all things literary.

    The free event will feature:

    • A book fair with local booksellers
    • Conversations about the literary Midwest
    • Local and regional author readings
    • Opportunities to connect with publishers and literary magazines
    • Workshops led by experienced writers
    • Bookish activities for all ages
    • Food, drink, music, games, and prizes
    It will be held at Harrison Center for the Arts on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. A full schedule will be released in early September + the event is free to attend, but registration in advance is recommended.
