Both Trump And Biden Say They Want To Debate

Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with WOR White House correspondent Jon Decker about President Biden and former President Trump debating.

Decker told the guys he wasn't surprised Biden said he'd debate Trump but is very skeptical and cynical about the two candidates getting together in this election cycle. The Presidential Debate Commission has set the times and dates for three Presidential debates and one Vice Presidential debate, but there is no guarantee until both candidates give the okay.

Here is how the debate would go: “President Biden, what is your favorite flavor ice cream? 60 seconds. Thank you for your answer in advance, President Biden.” (Biden answers). “Great answer, Mr. President . You won the debate. But since we have to be fair, we have to give Trump a question too. So now, a question for you, Mr. Trump. A different question, because you can’t answer the ice cream question better than President Biden did. So, for your question, Mr. Trump (because we will never call you President ever again) please tell us your plan to promote world peace in our time while also winning the wars in both Ukraine and Israel at the same time, and also your plan to stop global warming, and finally how will you end the racism in America which you personally started 200 years ago? Only 60 seconds, Mr. Trump, or we will cut the feed off your mic. sir. And 30 seconds are left because we included the question into your time. So please go ahead and start answering the question.”
