Opening Arguments Begin At Senator Bob Menendez Corruption Trial

A jury was seated on Wednesday and opening arguments began at the corruption trial of New Jersey Senator Bob Menedez.

He's accused of accepting cash, gold bars and other lavish gifts in exchange for providing favors to foreign governments. Prosecutors said that Menendez put his power up for sale and betrayed the people of New Jersey.

Opening arguments will continue on Thursday and then the first witness could be called.
