Connecticut Claims Their Pizza Is Better Than New York's

Len Berman and Michael Riedel sent WOR Street Reporter Natalie Migliore out to talk with New Yorkers about CT politician Rosa DeLauro traveling to Washington DC to read a statement into the Congressional Record declaring New Haven as the pizza capital of the United States. Opinions vary, but most folks say NYC is the pizza capital of the EARTH.

Two different styles and regions from Italy. I’m a Marchegian which is apizza in Connecticut . Thin and xtra crisp. New York style Neapolitan, from Naples. Thin, chewy and perfect … they are both amazing from the right places …. LUIGI’s at 686 & 5th Ave park slope New York is my favorite Neapolitan pizza and for Connecticut it is APIZZA AT : Roseland’s DERBY CT and Zuppardi’s WEST HAVEN CT & Modern NEW HAVEN Ct
