Mayor Adams Faces Questions About Future Of Police Commissioner Caban

During a virtual press conference, Mayor Eric Adams faced repeated investigations about Police Commissioner Edward Caban amid a federal investigation into members of the New York City Police Department.

There have been reports that Caban could soon resign, but Adams says there's nothing for him to announce.

"Whatever new changes in administrations that an administration that will be made, when they come about, we will announce them," Adams said.

Caban is one of multiple NYPD officials who had their phones seized last week by the FBI. There have been growing calls for him to step down.

"There's never been a comment from me that said any member of this administration has been pressured by me to resign," the mayor said.
