Mayor Eric Adams was noticeably impatient with the media, who peppered him with questions about the federal investigations into city government.

"Stuff comes up in the city and we're not going to be distracted. And one of the distractions is answering the same question over and over and over and over again. Like you're going to get a different answer. I'm just not going to do that. I got a city to run," Adams said.

Last week Edward Caban resigned as police commissioner after having his phone seized. Deputy mayors also had their homes raided and the Adams campaign for mayor is also facing an investigation over its fundraising efforts. But Mayor Adams argues the public doesn't care.

"They're talking about public safety. They're talking about housing. They're talking about education. They're talking about the issues that impact them. They want to make sure that this city is going to provide a future for them," Adams said.

Adams, just quit already. Your presence alone is destroying NYC. No one wants to work with you because of your unethical tactics.
