Mets Lose Heartbreaker, Yankees Look To Take 2-0 Lead

The Mets were on the verge of another possible come from behind win on Sunday, but instead suffered a crushing 7 to 6 loss in Philadelphia.

Nick Castellanos singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 9th, after Mark Vientos had tied the game in the top of the inning with a two-run homer. The Phillies win ties the series at one game apiece with Game 3 set for Tuesday night at Citi Field.

The Yankees host the Kansas City Royals in Game 2 on Monday night. Carlos Rodon gets the start, looking to give the Yankees a 2 games to 0 series lead.
