Mets Lose Game 3 Of NLCS, Yankees Prepare for Game 3 Of ALCS

The Mets find themselves again trailing in the National League Championship Series after losing Game 3 to the Dodgers 8 to 0 at Citi Field.

The shutout loss drops them into a 2 to 1 series hole with Game 4 on Thursday night. The ALCS shifts to Cleveland on Thursday with the Yankees holding a 2 games to 0 series lead. Clarke Schmidt gets the start in Game 3.

The Yankees haven't been to the World Series since 2009, while the Mets were last there in 2015. Should both teams advance, it would be the first Subway Series since 2000 when the Yankees won their third straight title.
