The New York Jets have reportedly reached an agreement with linebacker Haason Reddick on an adjusted contract, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN 's Adam Schefter Sunday (October 20) morning.

Reddick, 30, was acquired by the Jets in an offseason trade with the Philadelphia Eagles in April, however, requested a trade in August amid displeasure over his contract situation. The former Pro Bowl linebacker recently hired super agent Drew Rosenhaus prior to the reported agreement.

"Holdout over: Standout edge rusher Haason Reddick and the Jets reached agreement on an adjusted contract. Reddick will be reporting to the team on Monday morning. “We will continue to work towards a long term extension with the Jets,” said Reddick’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus , who negotiated the adjusted contract along with Jason Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha ," Schefter wrote on his X account.

The Eagles traded Reddick prior to the April 1 deadline in which his $1 million roster bonus was due, ESPN 's Jeremy Fowler reported at the time of the trade. Reddick started in all of the Eagles' regular season and postseason games during each of the past two seasons, recording 38 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 11.0 sacks and 23 QB hits, while being selected to the Pro Bowl for the second consecutive year in 2023.

The former Temple standout was also a second-team All-Pro during Philadelphia's NFC Championship season in 2022.
