LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash north of the Las Vegas valley, according to Nevada State police.

On Sunday around 4:25 p.m., NSP responded to a report of a crash involving a single motorcycle on the I-15 mile marker 64 northbound offramp, which is about 11 miles north of the Las Vegas Speedway.

Police said one man was pronounced dead.

The northbound I-15 at the mile mark 64 off-ramp, and the U.S.93 eastbound to go I-15 northbound are both closed, according to NSP. Traffic is being diverted from the I-15 and mile marker 64 to northbound only. I-15 northbound traffic can use the next exit to go southbound to get back onto the U.S. 93.

U.S. 93 traffic is being diverted to southbound I-15 and then to exit at the next ramp to go northbound I-15.

Not quite.this motorcyclist was probably doing what all they do.cut and split lanes, try to get in front of everybody, try to show off their bike power,..It is not car drivers,it is the biker own choice..It wasn't a car undoing, it was himself..You're comment become obsolete as he just killed himself!!

Well these comments reflect the general attitude of car drivers towards bikers. Is it any wonder we have so many motorcycle related accidents and fatalities? You’re heartless! My condolences to his family and friends 😢 As we head into cooler weather, beautiful for riding, please watch and listen for those on 2 wheels.
