Arizona man charged in stabbing death, theft of motorcycle

LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) — A 25-year-old man faces a second-degree murder charge after an altercation on Sunday night ended in the stabbing death of another man in Golden Valley, Arizona, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Adam Keith Pearl Jr. and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Chyanne Alicia Teeples, were arrested Monday morning in Kingman. Pearl faces a murder charge, as well as charges of armed robbery and theft of a motorcycle. Teeples faces a charge in connection with the theft of a motorcycle.

Police did not identify the victim.

Sheriff’s deputies responded Sunday just after 10:30 p.m. to a report that a man had been stabbed. The call was in the area of Wingate Drive and Halite Road in Golden Valley. Deputies found the man, but life-saving measures were unsuccessful and the victim died of his injuries.

An investigation revealed that Pearl and Teeples had left the scene on the victim’s motorcycle after the stabbing.

A search of the area began and other police agencies in the region were notified. Kingman police located Pearl and Teeples just after 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Both suspects were transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman. The investigation is ongoing, according to the sheriff’s office.
