LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) — Police in Los Angeles arrested a second man accused in a Las Vegas deadly shooting more than two weeks later, police said Tuesday morning.

On Monday, Aug. 12, at around 3:45 a.m. officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 3900 block of Palos Verdes Street, north of Flamingo Road, after reports of a shooting .

Police said witnesses told police a man and woman were talking in the middle of the street when they heard a “pop” and saw the man, who was bleeding run to a car and drive off.

Officers then found a man slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle in the 400 block of Calcaterra Circle. Medical personnel took the man, who was later identified as David Jervis, 44, to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

On Aug. 20, police arrested Anthony Rollans , 28, as a suspect in the case and booked him in absentia into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Through the investigation, detectives identified Devin Perkins, 24, as a second suspect in the case. On Aug. 29, police in Los Angeles located and arrested Perkins.

He was booked into the Los Angeles County Jail where he is awaiting extradition to Las Vegas, where he will face charges of open murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

A booking photo of Perkins was not immediately available.
