Las Vegas police seek vehicle involved in deadly east valley hit-and-run crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Las Vegas police are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that left one man dead.

It happened on Aug. 28 shortly after 3 a.m. near the intersection of South Nellis Boulevard and East Harmon Avenue.

Arriving officers located a man who was later identified as Auntrell Clark, 39, by the Clark County Coroner’s office. He was found on the ground and appeared to have been hit by a vehicle and also had several stab wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Las Vegas Metro police detectives later determined the man who died had previously been involved in a fight and stabbed by a woman who claimed it was self-defense. Following the stabbing the man left the scene and was then hit by an orange-colored 2015 Dodge Challenger bearing California license plates that read: 8MFG144 , the driver then left the scene.

Investigators believe the vehicle is unrelated to the initial stabbing incident but are seeking the
public’s assistance in locating it.
