LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas gas station employee is accused of beating a man with a bat after he claimed he broke a nacho cheese machine, according to an arrest report.

Myron Bullie, 47, of Las Vegas faces charges of attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon, records showed.

On Sept. 3 around 4:10 a.m., Metro police responded to a report of a man sitting on the ground in the parking lot of a gas station in the 5700 block of Rainbow Boulevard near Russell Road with blood coming from his head, nose, and ears.

When officers arrived they found the victim lying in a grass area and with his face covered in blood. The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

When police spoke to the person who called 911, he said that he was pumping gas when he saw the victim on the ground covered in blood. He also saw a gas station employee, later identified as Bullie, standing outside. When the witness told Bullie that the victim was bleeding and asked if he would call 911, Bullie said something to the extent of “I’m not going to call 911, he better have learned a lesson,” the report said.

Bullie told police that the victim came into the store and that he had never seen him before. He then went on to say that the man was trying to get too much cheese from the nacho cheese machine and ended up breaking it. Bullie then told the victim to get out of the store and not to break things, police said.

The victim left the store but later came back a couple of minutes later. Bullie told the victim once again to leave because they were closed, but the victim insisted on getting nachos so Bullie pushed him out of the store while holding a bat. While he was escorting the victim out of the store he said, “You should get the [expletive] out of my way when I tell you tell [sic] get the [expletive] out. If I have to tell someone more than once, I’m about to lose my [expletive] cool,” according to police.

Police said that Bullie told them “with excited utterance,” that the victim “started talking [expletive],” so he “hit him with the [expletive] bat. Don’t talk [expletive] to me. I’m tired of [expletive] over here talking [expletive] to me. Now everyone gonna see this and they’re gonna know never to talk [expletive] to me,” the report said.

When police asked Bullie if he hit him hard, he said “If it was hard, his head would’ve been smashed on the [expletive] floor and he would’ve been dead,” according to the report.

Bullie was arrested and brought to the Clark County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 23.
