Man shot at Las Vegas bus stop

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man was recovering from his injuries after another person shot him in the arm while waiting for a bus, Las Vegas Metro police said.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday on Sahara Avenue and Maryland Parkway in the east valley.

A person was at a bus stop when two people approached him and demanded money, officers said. The man attempted to leave the area when one of the suspects shot him.

The intersection was closed for some time as police investigated.

No other information was available Thursday.
