LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) — A teenage girl facing charges, including open murder and robbery, in a January shooting death told her alleged co-conspirators to “stick to the same story” after the shooting, police documents obtained by 8 News Now said.

On Jan. 2 around 9:40 p.m. officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to an apartment complex on Torrey Pines Drive near Sahara Avenue after reports of a shooting. The person reporting told police his neighbor was shot inside his apartment and he saw several people running from the apartment, according to an arrest warrant.

Arriving officers found the victim, later identified as Darian Alexander Gonzalez, lying on the floor in the apartment suffering from gunshot wounds.

The person reporting told police there was an “increase in foot traffic” at Darian’s apartment that night and he assumed Darian was having a party. The caller went to the apartment, where he saw Darian with a man later identified as Javier Galvan. At one point, Galvan left the apartment and came back with another man.

After he left the apartment, he heard gunfire and opened the door to his apartment and at least three people leaving the apartment, including Galvan. He then found Darian shot in the apartment and called 911.

Around 20 minutes after the shooting, another man, identified as David Valle, walked into a nearby hospital with his girlfriend, Prseyus Dennis. Valle was suffering from a gunshot wound in the leg.

Valle told police his friend Daisy Gonzalez called him on Instagram at around 6 p.m. to show him a new song she recorded. Valle and Dennis decided to go visit Gonzalez at the apartment, the warrant stated.

Dennis and Valle gave police conflicting statements about what happened during the shooting, with Dennis saying Darian pointed a firearm at them demanding their iPhones. Valle told police three unknown men were in the apartment and pointed guns at them, according to the warrant.

Valle also told police that the unknown men took Darian’s AR pistol, which he showed to Valle earlier in the evening.

The two then drove to the hospital but did not call the police, the warrant stated.

Police spoke to Gonzalez, who was either 15 or 16 at the time, a few days later. She said Valle, Dennis, and Galvan were recording a song with her in a makeshift studio in the apartment, where they smoked marijuana and drank alcohol. While they were there, Darian was showing them his rifle and other people were showing guns.

Gonzalez said she was in the bathroom when she heard “a lot of shots.” When she left the bathroom, she told police she saw Darian lying on the floor, and because she was “high, drunk, and underage,” she ran with everyone else, the warrant stated.

Messages on the Instagram accounts for Gonzalez, Galvan, Valle, and a man identified as Dewey Arredondo-Ramirez showed the group planned to steal Darian’s AR pistol while at the apartment. Police said some messages sent from Valle’s account after the shooting were sent by Dennis while Vale was in the hospital.

Less than an hour after the shooting, Gonzalez sent messages to Valle’s account that read: “Don’t mention nothing that happen [sic]” and “You both have to stick to the same story.”

A few days after the shooting, Gonzalez sent messages to an unknown person on Instagram, including “If I get locked up and charged Cz nobody’s talking [sic],” “I might do a little time… because I’m an accessory,” and “I have good lawyers,” the warrant stated.

Gonzalez also said in a message that she could have “prevented all this [from] happening.”

Gonzalez was recently certified as an adult. She faces charges of open murder with the use of a deadly weapon, robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit murder, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

She was held without bail. Her next court appearance was scheduled for Sept. 16.

A grand jury indicted Valle and Arredondo-Ramirez on charges of murder with the use of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, and robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, court records show.

Galvan was indicted on charges of accessory to murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and robbery with the use of a deadly weapon. Dennis was indicted on charges of voluntary manslaughter with the use of a deadly weapon, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Lock them all up and throw away the key. They have absolutely no remorse! The pre-meditative decided to kill this person to take their gun and who knows what else. Justice needs to come down hard!
