LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A Clark County middle school was impacted on Monday after a water main break over the weekend in the northeast Las Vegas valley.

Ed Von Tobel Middle School administration notified students and families on Monday morning that the water would need to be shut off at the school building.

The school is located in the 2400 block of North Pecos Road near Carey Avenue.

“The CCSD Facilities Department has been contacted to work to resolve the matter. Our students will be provided with drinking water and Facilities are setting up hand washing stations. Instruction is continuing with minimal interruption,” the letter also stated.

Those with concerns or questions can contact the school at 702-799-7280.

On Monday afternoon, CCSD told 8 News Now it appeared to be a larger community issue.
