    Woman killed in hit-and-run; police release photo of suspect vehicle

    UPDATE: North Las Vegas Police located the vehicle of interest in Henderson on Tuesday afternoon and added that the driver of the truck, identified as Justin Marr, 27, turned himself into police. It was also discovered that Marr had an active DUI warrant. He faces charges including duty to stop at the scene of an accident involving death or personal injury, reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily harm, and various traffic-related offenses, police said.

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Police released an image Tuesday of a truck that struck and killed a woman walking along a sidewalk in North Las Vegas Monday evening. Police are looking for the driver and suspect impairment was a factor. The driver is accused of causing two hit-and-run crashes.

    North Las Vegas police said officers responded to the first hit-and-run crash shortly at 9 p.m. Monday at Civic Center Drive and Webb Avenue. Officers found a seriously injured woman who died at the scene.

    Investigators said a preliminary investigation showed the woman — was walking on the sidewalk — when she was struck by a white work truck that was traveling northbound on Civic Center.

    Minutes later, police said a second hit-and-run crash was reported involving the same truck on Tonapah Avenue and Arthur Street. No one was injured in that crash.

    The truck is described as a single-cab utility vehicle with writing on the passenger side door. The truck also has a ladder over the top that extends from the rear of the truck to its front end.

    The woman’s identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s office.
