Las Vegas police locate body near I-15, Moapa

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The body of a man was found along I-15 by police over the weekend.

The body was found on Sunday shortly before 7:30 a.m. near the off-ramp on the side of the road on the southbound I-15 area near Hidden Valley Road near Moapa, according to Las Vegas Metro police.

When officers arrived they found that the man was found suffering from apparent trauma to his body and gunshot wounds.

This is an ongoing investigation being led by the LVMPD Homicide Section.
The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released
by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
