    Las Vegas police ask for help identifying man found dead along I-15 near Moapa

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas Metro police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was found dead along the I-15 near Moapa on Sunday.

    The body was found on Sunday shortly before 7:30 a.m. near the off-ramp on the side of the road on the southbound I-15 area near Hidden Valley Road near Moapa, according to Las Vegas Metro police.

    When officers arrived they found that the man suffering from apparent trauma to his body and gunshot wounds, police said.

    The victim is described as a white man, 5’8”, 165 pounds, with short brown and gray hair and a mustache with a small beard.

    He was last wearing a large Bayside Heavy Weight orange long-sleeve shirt, a large Hanes gray t-shirt, Dickies gray pants (36 x 30) with a black belt, George gray boxer briefs, Force Extremes blue socks, and Keen Footwear brown and black hiking shoes in a size 11.5.
