LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying persons of interest they said are connected to the death of Reba, the English Bulldog found inside a sealed plastic tub in 110-degree heat in July.

On July 26 at around 1 a.m., officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 1100 block of East Twain Avenue. There, Paws Patrol LV found Reba inside a plastic tote that was taped shut in 110-degree heat.

She was in critical condition and suffering from heat stroke.

Reba passed away two days later. Officials said she went into sudden cardiac arrest due to blood clotting caused by the severe heat stroke and shock.

Now more than two months later, there are still no answers and police said they have exhausted all leads related to Reba’s death.

According to a Wednesday release, investigators found surveillance video of the incident, but have been unable to identify the man and the woman in the footage.

Police released the footage Wednesday afternoon in an effort to identify the man and woman they called “persons of interest.” The video shows a man and a woman driving a white four-door sedan and parking in the area where the black tote with Reba was found.

Lindsey Pinapfel, a volunteer with Vegas Pet Rescue Project spoke on what she called a major move in the investigation.

“We are relieved,” Pinapfel said. “Because this is a step in the right direction.”

“There are two people,” Pinapfel added. “Which means there are more chances that people actually know who these individuals are.”

Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the LVMPD Animal Cruelty Detail 702-828-2907 or contact Crime Stoppers of Nevada at 702-385-5555 or on the Crime Stoppers website to remain anonymous.

Sadly sweet beautiful Reba probably isn't the first animal these devils have tortured but I pray the last. Precious Reba is the non consenting martyr for brutalized creatures and that baby girl is resting in peace now while these demonic heathens are terrified that law enforcement and people who want that reward money are on their arses.

I'm not sure why it took so long to get this video out to the public, but at least it finally is. These people have to be local to Las Vegas. These people have to have neighbors or people who know them or recognize them in some way. Anyone who thinks they know them or have any knowledge of who they are at all, you can call Metro anonymously and explain. There is a huge financial reward for info that leads to the couples' arrest. Please, please, call Metro and tell them what you know. Keep in mind that they will not only torture and kill pets, but psychiatrically speaking, these people will hurt and kill children. Put a stop to them, please.
