1 hospitalized after crash near downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – One person was hospitalized after a crash near downtown Las Vegas.

The pedestrian was hit near the intersection of Fremont Street and Charleston Boulevard on Friday at around 2:30 p.m., according to Las Vegas Metro police.

The pedestrian was later taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene and impairment is not suspected, police said.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area as the police investigation is ongoing.
