    Man hit, hospitalized after North Las Vegas crash

    LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in North Las Vegas, according to police.

    It happened on Friday shortly after 7:30 p.m. near Cheyenne Avenue and Civic Center Drive.

    North Las Vegas police told 8 News Now the man is in his mid-50s and is in critical condition.

    RTC of Southern Nevada said due to the crash eastbound Cheyenne Avenue at Civic Center Drive is blocked.

    Drivers are advised to look for alternate routes.
