Las Vegas Metro lieutenant arrested on domestic battery charge

LAS VEGAS (KLAS)– A Las Vegas Metropolitan police lieutenant was arrested Saturday on a domestic battery charge, according to police.

Lieutenant Brian Boxler was arrested on Saturday and brought to the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of domestic battery by strangulation.

Boxler has been with LVMPD since 2008 and will be placed on paid suspension during the investigation. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, records showed.
