SAULT STE. MARIE — Police need your help finding whoever broke into several buildings and stole food and other items from the local softball/baseball complex.

According to Detective Sergeant Kristin Autore, the break-ins occurred sometime between Saturday night and Wednesday morning in the Malcolm Park area.

While there is no immediate estimate on the damage to the four buildings, Autore said around $800 in snacks were taken along with some non-food items.

Malcolm Park is maintained by volunteers and city workers and holds dozens of games and tournaments throughout the summer.

If anyone has any information about this or has seen anyone with large amounts of snack food, please contact Sault Ste. Marie at 906-632-5744.
