This weekend, Aug. 9-11, Shepler’s Ferry will run ferries to and from Mackinac Island every 15 minutes. Ferries will leave from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace.

Due to the high volume of guests, Shepler’s said they will not be running any Mighty Mac tours under the Mackinac Bridge from their St. Ignace location for the foreseeable future.

Mackinac Island Ferry Company (MIFC), formerly Star Line, currently has a limited schedule of boats leaving from Mackinaw City. The MIFC St. Ignace dock is not operational.

Shuttle service is available for transport between the Shepler’s and MIFC parking lots.

So an out of state company now runs alll of the boats to and from the island and owns a shit ton of land. What could possibly go wrong? It's all another business venture. That's it.
