Frankfort held on for a season opening win on the road at Mancelona.

The Panthers host Maple City Glen Lake next week while the Ironmen make the trek East to play Tawas.

Manistee 47, Kalkaska 12

Manistee got their season rolling with a win over Kalkaska on the road.

The Mariners head south next week to visit Fremont while Kalkaska makes the journey to play Morely Stanwood

Glen Lake 55, Manton 0

The Lakers got their season off to a convincing start, cruising past Manton Thursday night.

Glen Lake stays on the road next week to visit Frankfort.

Manton makes the short drive to McBain.

Powers North Central12, Pickford 40

The Pickford Panthers opened their 2024 campaign with a convincing 40-12 win over Powers North Central.

Pickford heads to Brimley for its first road test of the season next Friday, while Powers North Central hosts St. Ignace.

Gaylord St. Mary 8, Rudyard 0

The Snowbirds found just enough offense to best the Bulldogs 8-0 to start the season.

Rudyard visits Felch North Dickinson next Thursday.

Gaylord St. Mary hosts Central Lake to open their home slate next week.
