    Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce President Stacie Bytwork resigns

    MANISTEE — President & CEO of the Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce Stacie Bytwork has announced her resignation, effective Oct. 31.

    She has been a key figure in the Chamber and Manistee County since 2013, establishing an economic development arm within the Chamber and creating a successful county-wide leadership program.

    Carmen Kott, Operations Manager, will be appointed Interim President & CEO. Carmen has been with the Chamber for over three years and has extensive experience with managing the numerous programs the Chamber provides.

    “I am thankful for the chance to be a part of this community,” Bytwork said. “I sincerely appreciate my board of directors for their faith in me and their support throughout the years. The current Chamber team is dedicated and motivated to carry forward the positive momentum”,

    Dennis McCarthy, Chamber Board chair, expressed gratitude for her contributions and the positive momentum she has inspired.

    “Stacie has been instrumental in driving the Chamber’s growth and leading our community towards a prosperous future,” McCarthy said. We are grateful for her commitment and the sustainability she has built for our organization. Although we will miss her, we are excited to carry forward the progress and positive energy she has inspired during her time with us.”
