Seth Henigan and the Memphis Tigers did their job on Saturday (9/14) at Florida State defeating the Noles 20-12. Sunday (9/15) in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll the Memphis Tigers were the chosen "Group of 5" school by college coaches coming in at #23. But the win at Florida State didn't sway voters to put Memphis ahead of Northern Illinois.

This week's AP Top 25 listed Northern Illinois University (NIU) at #23 while leaving the Tigers among "those receiving votes".
